It is suspected the virus has escaped from the hotel quarantine system of the country. Starting with 4 cases on Sunday the count rose up to 17 positive cases by Monday evening this is the highest number Adelaide has had since April.

New Delhi residents wake up for toxic air
Millions of residents in New Delhi wake up for toxic air on Sunday after the biggest “festival of light” in India “Diwali”, despite the ban of fire crackers due to pollution. The average pollution level was 9 times more than the considerable safe level given by the WHO. The city was covered with a thick smog. Even though a ban on fire crackers were imposed by the government before the festival, the policy has been difficult to be implemented. The citizens consider lighting of fire crackers is an essential tradition of this celebration.

Kate Winslate who is the new cast of James Cameron’s “Avatar 2”, has broken Tom Cruise’s record by filming a scene 7 minutes and 14 seconds under water. In a recent interview Winslate told she unknowingly surpassed Cruise’s record after training intensely for over four weeks. Winslate also told she felt it’s a little funny for people to come up to her and praise her for her work on the scene which she really loved and enjoyed doing and helped her gain a lot of experience.
Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput dies at 34 15th June 11.56 AM
The famous Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead last Sunday at his apartment in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police confirmed the case was a suicide and the cause of the death is unknown and an investigation is underway.
Rajput started his acting career in 2009 in the television series “Pavitra Rishta”, where he played as a car mechanic. In 2013 he acted in “Kai Po Che” a movie based on a famous novel by Chetan Bhagat. He did a great role and received most of his fame and a Filmfare nomination for his role in “M.S. Dhoni: The untold story”, the troubled life of a famous Indian cricketer. Amid the country’s fight against the Coronavirus, the Indian Film industry and the fans of Rajput are shocked by the news. Actors and prominent leaders revealed their condolences through social media, the Prime Minister of India Mr. Modi mentioned “a bright young actor gone too soon” and the Bollywood star Sharukh Khan wrote “extremely sad and so shocking, energy, enthusiasm and his full happy smile”. The actress Deepika Podukone tweeted “I cannot stress enough about the importance of reaching out”.
After college Rajput started as a dancer for a well-known choreographer Shiamak Danvanr and has performed in many Bollywood events and award shows as well as in the Commonwealth games 2006. Rajputs family requested the media to help them maintain the privacy at this hard time. According to the Mayans Calendar, the Doomsday is due next Sunday, 21st June 2020. The belief by the theorists were there back then in 2012 but they believe the readings were incorrect and according to the correct reading it is due next week.
Mayan and Julian Calendars were used long before Gregorian Calendar system was introduced in 1582. The Gregorian calendar calculate the days by the time the earth takes to orbit the sun, where as according to the Julian Calendar It is believed that 11 days of the year are lost if you calculation is done this way. So, the final calculation adds up to end us in 2012 this year not 2020. However according to NASA a similar theory of planet called ‘Niburu’ was supposed to head towards the earth back in May 2003, when nothing happened the doomsday theory was moved to 21st December 2012, but according to science there is no considerable evidence to believe that any of these are true.
Medeleine McCann is dead – German prosecutors confirm to the parents 16th June 12.42 PM
The German prosecutors have confirmed to the parents the death of Medeleine McCann, the three years old British girl who went missing in 2007 near Algarve Resort in Portugal. The parents Gerry and Kate McCann have not yet responded to the letter. The prosecutors have not revealed any further information to the UK Police as it will interrupt Hans Christian Wolters to carry out the investigation any further. However, they say they have concrete evidence that the girl is dead.
Wolter further confirms the case is not a missing case but a murder case. The Suspect Christian Brueckner, a sex offender who has as many as 17 different cases, is currently prisoned in northern Germany. Brueckner has been living in a farm house near Algarve Resort where the girl and the parents were staying at the time went missing.
The Last of Us part 2 released today 19th June 10.50 PM
One of the top played games in this generation, the Last of us part 2 was released today, despite the part 1, the game has already received a lot of criticism from gamers and viewers. The part 1 of Last of us were released in 2013 and became one of the most successful games in the recent history selling over 17 million copies and won the Numerous games of the year award. The game was about zombie killings but beautiful storyline of how far a parent would go to protect their child.
The same expectations from the audience were there when the part 2 was released today, but as the climax has changed killing the main character in the first sequel and the violence is a bit more comparing to part 1. So, some of the gamers already feeling bad about the act. The game has been released only few hours ago and the audience feel this game by “Naughty Dog” (a Sony owned studio) should have continued the part 1 story line in a way the gamers to feel happy. However some gamers and viewers do have positive comments and they claim how can there be such criticism when the game was released only few hours ago, it is about roughly a 25 – 30 hour game so, none of the critics surely have not finished the game yet, they either played halfway and they didn’t like the plot and gave their comments to the others and the others have started criticizing it already. They believe there are whole lot of spoilers out there and at the end of the day the last one of us part 1 & 2, cannot give the identical outcome of the story.
Amy Cooper loses her job for her act of Racism 27th May – 11.44 AM
A video that went viral makes Amy Cooper pay for her false accusation on Christian Cooper (They are not related). Amy Cooper’s employer stated that she was fired for this crucial racism act last Tuesday even though she later decided to apologies from Christian Cooper.
the video shows Amy cooper calling 911 emergency and complaining on Christian Cooper saying “an African American man is threatening me and my dog at the Central Park”. Christian Cooper sees Amy Cooper has her dog unleashed at the Central Park in the area called the Ramble where people bird watch, this is completely against the Ramble rules as it could be dangerous for the bird watchers as well as for the surrounding plant life, once he explained this to Amy Cooper she furiously replies saying that she is calling the cops that she and her dog is being threatened, and she does. Christian Cooper videoed the conversation she had with the cops and then shared it on social media which finally led Amy Cooper’s employer to fire her due to her unpleasant actions.
On the apology note, Amy Cooper stated that she is not a racist and she did not mean to harm Christian Cooper in anyway. However, this has been a common case even in the past white people calling and falsely complaining on African American people hence the police arrested neither Amy nor Christian Cooper. When Christian Cooper was asked if he is ready to accept her apology, he mentioned as long as she keeps her dog on leash, they do not have any problems with each other.
Launch of SpaceX 27th May – 12.14 PM
SpaceX is the first ever private company to take astronauts into the International Space Station. Started in 2002 SpaceX has the ultimate goal of finding another planet inhabitable for humans. Working together with NASA the Falcon 9 rocket and crew Dragon capsule is set to take off from earth on 27th May 2020 (today) from the Kennedy Space Centre Florida. There will be two American astronauts on board and this is the first crewed mission after nine years. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic extra measures have been taken to make sure the virus will not be taken into space. The two astronauts, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley have been in quarantine longer than the usual to ensure this.
The founder of SpaceX Elon Musk wants to be among the stars, make the things we see in movies a reality. Since NASA has retired its space shuttle fleet in 2011, some say SpaceX will be saving at least about 40 Million Dollars for Nasa. Reusable rockets can make space exploration much cheaper and SpaceX was able to prove it when Falcon 9 made its landing near Cape Canaveral all by itself on 08th April 2016 after launching on 21st December 2015 for the first time in the history. A live telecast of the launch is also scheduled for today. This could mean that in the future there will a transportation service ready for humans to travel to the international space station.
“The Ickabog” by J.K Rowling 27th May – 1.31 PM
J.K. Rowling the famous author of the Children’s book series ‘Harry Potter’ has a surprising announcement for her fans, ‘The Ickabog’ a book Rowling was writing while she was working on Harry Potter series will be published in November 2020. Rowling took a break for about five years from writing Children’s books but then decided to release ‘The Ickabog’ specially for children who are in lockdown during the pandemic. Rowling also mentioned in her official website that ‘The Ickabog’ might lead to serialization as it has its possibilities. She is planning to publish the 34 chapters from 26th May 2020 to 10th July 2020 on the Ickabog website for free for the children.
Rowling stated the Ickabog is about truth and abusive power. She has got the idea for the story about a decade ago and says this has got nothing to do with the current world situation. Rowling is also planning on an illustration competition for The Ickabog specially for children to be busy and get distracted from the current situation, the dates will be later announced on The Ickabog website.
